Cox's Bazar, a town of Bangladesh, is known for its wide sandy beach which is claimed to be the world's longest natural sandy sea beach (120 km) including mud flats. The Sundarbans, claimed to be the largest single block of tidal halophytic mangrove forest in the world, lies at the mouth of the Ganges and is spread across areas of Bangladesh and West Bengal, India, forming the seaward fringe of the delta. GENEVA: The Grand Canyon, Mount Fuji and the Amazon rainforest are likely contenders in a global poll of millions of people to select the seven natural wonders of the world, organizers say.

Bangladesh's image will be brightened further across the world if the Cox's Bazar and Sundarbans are included in the list of 21 major global natural wonders to be decided on August 8 through internet voting.

We, Bangalis should vote Cox's Bazar and Sundarbans as if these will exist in New 7 Wonders list.
